Block all apps until tomorrow
This feature is currently in development and will be released soon. However, if you want to block all apps during a specific time of day, you can create a new Task and include only Finder in the allowlist. To do this, use the Engagement Timer, set the threshold to 10 seconds, and select "Mouse click" as the activity. This configuration will make it very difficult to complete any session.
Once you create a Task, you can easily schedule it using Routines. For example, setting the Routine to start at 5:30 PM will disable all apps until the next day. This session will automatically cancel at 12:00 AM, ending the block.
We've all been there. Sometimes, we get into a groove and can't stop, or maybe we tend to spend unnecessary time on the computer when the workday ends. We all need an extra dose of discipline occasionally, so let this feature help you step away from the screen when you're supposed to and avoid preventable burnout.
Off
This is the default state.
After completing today's Routines
Selecting this option will block all apps after you finish your scheduled Routines.
At a specific time…
When you choose this option, you will be presented with a timer picker. Select the time, and all apps will be blocked accordingly.
If you need to cancel "Block all apps until tomorrow," you can do so just like you can cancel any active session by using the Instant or Standard cancel methods.
